Fractional Column

Fractionation distillation column is a tower-type gas-liquid contact device for distillation. Using the different volatility of each component in the mixture, that is. the vapor pressure of each component is different at the same temperature, the light component (low boiling) in the liquid phase is transferred to the gas phase, and the recombination component (high boiling) in the gas phase is transferred to the liquid phase, so as to achieve the purpose of separation.

The general distillation device is composed of distillation tower body,condenser, reflux tank and reboiler.The feed is fed into the column from acertain section of the column plate, which is called the feed plate.
